Peugeot lets the sunshine in at 2009 Melbourne Motor Show

Peugeot will confirm its position as the pioneer of coupé convertibles when it is the only maker with two different CC models at the Melbourne Motor Show this year.
It will display both the 207CC and the soon-to-be-released 308CC at Australia’s only major motor show for 2009, which runs from 27 February to 9 March at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

This morning, in Peugeot Avenue on the Champs-Elysées, about fifty representatives of the French media got a first look at the concept cars from the Frankfurt Motor Show: 308 RC Z, 308 Prologue, 308 Hybrid HDi and the full-scale model from the ‘Flux’ project, winner of the 4th Peugeot Design Competition.

A new Blue Box in Sydney

Peugeot winner of the Le Mans Series 2007

The 908 HDi DPFS of Marc Gené and Nicolas Minassian came first in the 1000 Milhas of Interlagos in Brazil. By finishing second in the race, the 908 HDi DPFS No. 8 of Pedro Lamy and Stéphane Sarrazin won the title of the Le Mans Series 2007, allowing the Peugeot Total Team to achieve a fine finish, taking the first two places for the second time in the 2007 season.

Peugeot 308 - 100000 units produced already

Launched commercially in Europe during the last quarter of the year, the Peugeot 308 has already exceeded the first target of 100,000 vehicles produced.This phase coincides with the market introduction of the «three-door» hatch versions and the economically attractive engines, in particular the 1.6 l HDi with emissions of no more than 120 g of CO2/km.
